The short version

This website is deliberately light on tracking. We do not run advertising cookies, we do not sell data to advertisers, and we do not embed third-party trackers that follow you around the internet.

What we do use

Strictly necessary

WordPress sets a small number of cookies that are required for the site to function — for example, to keep a form submission secure against cross-site request forgery, and to keep administrators logged in. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

Preferences

If you switch the site between light and dark appearance, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Embedded content

The contact page embeds a map from OpenStreetMap. Loading it means your browser contacts that service, which will see your IP address. We have chosen OpenStreetMap over commercial alternatives specifically because it is less intrusive.

Analytics

If we add website analytics in future, this page will be updated first and, where the law requires consent, you will be asked before any non-essential cookie is set.

Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of this website working, including the contact and quote forms.
